Jean-Marie Massaud, born in 1966 in Toulouse, is a prominent French designer celebrated for his innovative and sustainable approach to design. He graduated from ENSCI in 1990 and initially studied aerospace engineering before opening his Paris office in 1996.
In 2000, he co-founded Studio Massaud, expanding his work to furniture, architecture, and urban planning. His designs, including the iconic Flow Filo chair and Aston Club armchair, emphasize organic forms that connect people and nature.
Collaborating with brands like MDF Italia and Poltrona Frau, Massaud's work merges aesthetics with environmental responsibility. He has received numerous awards, including the ADI Compasso d'Oro and the Red Dot Design Award.
Passionate about education, he has taught at prestigious design schools, influencing the next generation of designers. His vision focuses on creating experiences that enhance well-being and foster a harmonious relationship with the environment.
