Marco Lavit, born in 1986, is an architect and designer known for his thoughtful approach to form and material.
He graduated from Ecole Spéciale d’Architecture in Paris and the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, focusing on sustainable winery design. After gaining experience at Riccardo Blumer's studio and LAN Architecture, he co-founded Atelier LAVIT in 2014.
The studio emphasizes collaboration with artisans, creating notable pieces like the Lemni chair and innovative wooden structures. Lavit has received the Rising Talent Award at Maison & Objet and teaches at ESA, guiding future designers.
